Cuncannon Ltd were founded in Aintree, Liverpool over 30 years ago by the Whelan brothers Michael, John & Tony. Growing up in Norris Green, they entered into the world of construction upon leaving school, amassing over 100 years of experience as of writing!
They began working on inner city grants for the Liverpool council immediately and this coincided with a move into larger premises in the city centre and continued working alongside the council for the next 10 years before being approached by Ashworth Mairs Group to take over as their main subsidence contractor nationwide. Following the success of this we were asked to pilot the insurance fire and flood restoration works & eventually settled on specialising in this in the North West & North Wales areas.
Expansion again led us to moving to a premises in Rainford, St Helens before acquiring our current headquarters in Upholland, Lancashire where we have been based since 2012. Whilst we still prioritise insurance works, we also have numerous demolitions, new builds & disabled adaption works ongoing & are always open to new opportunities to form working relationships with new clients.
We work primarily with Claim Handlers, Loss adjusters, Loss assessors & direct for insurers on domestic & commercial properties such as schools, churches & care homes
